In the first month of 2020, spending on political ads on Facebook from the Bernie Sanders campaign totaled $1,870,269.

But Sanders’ competitor Michael Bloomberg is making up for lost time. The former New York City mayor’s campaign spent a total of $24,548,854 on Facebook ads since Jan. 1. That’s 1,200% more than Sanders, according to Forbes.

The data comes from a Facebook Ad Library report that shows the Sanders, Warren, and Buttigieg campaigns have similar spending habits. Warren and Buttigieg have spent $1,185,983 and $728,617, respectively.

The Donald Trump campaign has spent $5,081,439 on ads in 2020.

In one day alone, Bloomberg’s campaign spent $912,206 on 11,949 ads.

The report also shows that the top states for political ad spending on Facebook are California, Texas, and Florida.

The overall totals for campaign spending from the report are even more staggering. Having begun his campaign late, Bloomberg is compensating with ad spending. On Facebook alone, campaigns for the former New York mayor have spent a total of $30,589,065. That’s more than any other candidate has spent in the race—including Trump, whose reelection campaign has spent $24,297,359 since Dec. 31, 2018.

Deval Patrick has spent the least, according to the report, with a total of just $20,051.
