The Daily Dot was founded in September of 2010 by CEO Nicholas White and his co-founders, Nova Spivack & Josh Jones-Dilworth.
Nicholas White, Co-founder and CEO: Nick is a sixth-generation journalist and it is figuratively true that he has ink running in his veins. A lover of newsrooms everywhere, Nick was formerly with Sandusky Newspapers, where he was most recently vice president of audience for its Midwest division. He still sits on Sandusky’s board of directors. He has two dogs, Hunter and Oscar, named for Hunter S. Thompson and Thompson’s attorney, Oscar Acosta.

Nova Spivack, Co-founder and Director: Nova is a serial entrepreneur and Internet visionary. He has started and sold several companies, is an active angel investor and startup advisor and runs a highly regarded venture incubator. He is widely published and regularly speaks on the future of search, social media and the Web. He's been to space, too.

Josh Jones-Dilworth, Co-founder and Director: Josh is a seasoned marketer, having launched over 100 startups in his career, and is an advisor for many startups and CEOs alike. He is also the Founder and CEO of Jones-Dilworth, Inc, a PR and marketing firm specializing in early stage technology startups and defining new markets. He has jumped into every body of water he has ever encountered.
