These kids give the ‘SNL’ Santa their wish list—and they have questions about Roy Moore

The joke about Matt Laurer's sex toys is especially jarring.

Children today are confused. But who better to ask questions about the strange world of politics and culture than Santa Claus?

That’s why Saturday Night Live took the opportunity to imagine a scenario where kids give their Christmas wish list to Santa, with items like a Mega Bloks dinosaur and a football, before asking him uncomfortable queries. Like, what did Al Franken do? And whether Alabama GOP senate candidate Roy Moore is on the naughty or nice list? And, for that matter, what about President Donald Trump?

Not even the elf Sugar Plum—who says, ‘In this climate, could you call me Amy?”—can help Kenan Thompson’s Santa in this situation. Watch as the kids’ questions get more piercing as Santa’s shift at the local mall continues.
