Samantha Bee, having not been on the air since Donald Trump was sworn in as president, kicked off her first episode of Full Frontal since the inauguration to highlight his first weekend in excruciating detail.
Between his inability to book A-list stars (something he particularly cares about), the fascist undertones of his speech, and just how bored he looked at times, Bee took glee in mocking Trump while reminding us that yes, this really happened.
“Oh yeah, it really happened,” Bee said. “The world watched America swear in as its 45th president the concept of white male mediocrity.”
As bad as it might get—and she’s been following Trump’s executive order this week—Bee can still always remind him about the lack of star power at his own inauguration.
