Melissa Joan Hart bemoaned on social media that Hurricane Maria ruined her vacation, and Twitter users collectively rolled their eyes. Then they reprimanded her.
The former Clarissa Explains It All and Sabrina the Teenage Witch star has since deleted her screenshot from Instagram and Twitter about news that Hurricane Maria hit Dominica before her vacation. But it’s already eternalized.

“And just like that, our family vacation is canceled,” Hart, 41, captioned the post. “Such a bummer but we plan to hit the @nickresortpuntacana resort another time this year.”
Twitter users reminded Hart that Hurricane Maria, which tore apart the Caribbean island Dominica and left all of Puerto Rico without power, has much (much, much) bigger consequences.
First, Punta Cana is the Dominican Republic, not Dominica. And it's better to be "bummed" about death, destruction there.

I think you should be more concerned with the people that live there instead of your meaningless vacation.

Eh, there’s this one guy on Hart’s side.
Better safe than sorry. We do not want anything to happen to you or your family.

She still, however, is posting Instagram memes.
