Donald Trump’s comments about sexual assault, made 11 years ago, are poised to swing an election against him for good. Respected-on-both-sides Republican leaders like John McCain and Paul Ryan are backing away—but John Oliver thinks it’s too late for that.

“He alone does not bear the burden of his conduct, because he alone did not make himself your party’s nominee,” Oliver said Sunday on Last Week Tonight. “All of you have consistently supported him through absolutely heinous shit.”
