These people sold their souls to Yahoo for a Marissa Mayer retweet

A bunch of people are about to use Yahoo as their homepage, switch to Yahoo Mail, and stop making fun of the firm’s derided new logo. Why? Because company CEO Marissa Mayer retweeted them.

Mayer shared their promises to switch to Yahoo services. Clicking a button on Twitter is a small price to pay to hook new or returning customers, so why not?

Among those who pledged allegiance to Yahoo’s purple flag are journalists, marketers, and IT consultants. Some even shared screenshotted evidence of them making the switch.
