Sarah Palin is not known for her astute pontifications or feminist leanings, but while watching last night’s debate, she did make a valid point: Why did she have to stand during her debate—in high heels, no less—but Gov. Mike Pence, Sen. Tim Kaine, and pretty much every other dude in recent vice-presidential history got to sit down?

She’s right, it’s not fair and heels do suck. Even Hillary Clinton knew to wear sensible pumps during the first presidential debate.
