Once you’ve been dating someone for a while, people have a tendency to ask when you’re getting married. You would think tying the knot would settle the public prying, but it doesn’t. The line of questioning just escalates: When are you having kids?
Choosing whether to have children or not is an incredibly personal and significant decision, one that people often wrestle with for years until fate intervenes in some form or fashion. There are all sorts of reasons why people may choose to hold off or opt out of parenting altogether, and it’s not the type of question that can easily be answered during small talk at a checkout in a grocery store.
Tired of having to answer questions about her and her husband’s plans for the future, one woman trolled her family and friends with a pregnancy prank on the photo-sharing site Imgur. For it, she broke out a tape measure to document the progress of her baby bump, but it turns out she won’t have to wait very long to reveal her little miracle.
The puppy’s name is Leelu, and she’s adorable. We look forward to seeing their holiday cards for years to come.
