Body camera footage released Wednesday shows a woman being told she’s “about to get dropped” before a police officer punched her on a New Jersey beach, Vice News reported.

A witness video showing the violent arrest of 20-year-old Emily Weinman in Wildwood, New Jersey, went viral over Memorial Day weekend. Police reportedly approached Weinman, who is from Philadelphia, because she was spotted on the beach with unopened alcohol. The encounter escalated when she refused to give her name to the police.

The newly released footage shows one of the officers telling Weinman, “all right, you’re about to get dropped,” before making physical contact.

The footage shows that Weinman initially took a breathalyzer test but still refused to give officers her name. She yelled, “Don’t fucking talk to me!” and walked toward the water before the cops arrested her.

Per Vice:

During the arrest, Weinman thrashes around and struggles with police, screaming at them. She tells one of the cops he’s choking her in the body cam footage, though he denies it. In the original witness video on Twitter, one of the officers appears to put Weinman in a chokehold and punches her multiple times. Weinman appears to spit at one of the cops while she is on the sand being cuffed in the body cam footage.

Weinman faces multiple charges following the altercation, including aggravated assault of a police officer, resisting arrest, and underage possession of alcohol.

The three officers involved in the incident have been assigned to desk duty pending an investigation, according to CBS News. City of Wildwood Police Chief Robert Regalbuto said after he seeing the officers’ body camera footage, he thinks they did “a decent job.”
