The British Transport Police (BTP) are searching for a woman who made a racist rant on a train in East London after video evidence was posted to YouTube.

Police released CCTV images and confirmed that the incident occurred on the London Underground between Woolwich Arsenal and Abbey Wood Tuesday afternoon, the BBC reported.

“We treat all allegations of racism very seriously and urge anyone with information about this incident to contact us,” Detective Inspector Jeremy Walley said.

The 40-second cell phone video shows a woman shouting at a group of black passengers on a crowded train.

“Go home, go home where you belong,” she said. “You might have been born here, but I bet your grandparents and your great grandparents weren’t.”

The camera follows the woman as she leaves the train. The BTP appealed to YouTube commenters and the public to assist them in identifying the woman in the video.

“At this stage, we urge anyone who witnessed this incident, or who recognises this woman, to get in touch and help us build up a full picture of exactly what took place,” Walley said.

This isn’t the first time a Londoner’s racist rant has been exposed through YouTube. Police arrested an unnamed woman in August for her tirade on a London bus in August. She was released on bail under the condition that she doesn’t ride a London bus until after everything is resolved.

Jacqueline Woodhouse pleaded guilty to drunkenly making racist comments on the London Underground in January. She was sentenced to five months in prison and banned for five years from using public transportation while intoxicated.
