These stunning Pinterest GIFs will get you in the mood for NYFW

Fashion is one of the most popular topics on Pinterest, right up there with food and travel, so with New York Fashion Week (NYFW) now underway pinners will be sharing even more styles than usual. While you’re probably ready for all of the latest looks from all the Fall/Winter 2014 collections to start showing up on your homepage, there are a few surprises to look out for.

This is the first NYFW since Pinterest decided to embrace GIFs and add a button to make them playable on the site. Instead of just the usual static runway shots we’re used to seeing, fashionistas can now get all the movement of the runway right in their feed. You can see all the outfits from one show in a simple GIF! That’s what we’re hoping for any way. It’s the perfect solution to catching up on NYFW when you don’t land a coveted invitation to the shows. (We didn’t get an invite either, don’t feel too bad.)
