The Byrdes are a normal family—for the most part.

At least that’s the premise of Netflix‘s latest drama series Ozark. It stars Jason Bateman as a dad and husband who seems pretty unremarkable… until he doesn’t. In the first trailer for the series, which was just released this week, Bateman and co-star Laura Linney seem to be ready to take their suburban family into hiding. But why? According to the Hollywood Reporter, “Bateman will direct, exec produce and star as a family man who moves from the city to the Lake of the Ozarks to begin repaying the money-laundering debt he owes to a ruthless and powerful drug lord.” Sounds juicy.

The series is the latest collaboration between Netflix and Media Rights Capital, which also produces House of Cards with the streaming giant.

Between the money laundering, Mexican nemeses, and strip club called Lickety Splitz, this trailer gives off some serious Sopranosmeets-Breaking Bad vibes. You’ll see what we mean:

Ozark will hit Netflix July 21, but you can add it to your watchlist here in the meantime.
