MythBusters star Grant Imahara took on the Reddit gauntlet yesterday, and he came out mostly unscathed—except for one nagging question about a female robot.

Last week the social news site’s general manager, Erik Martin, asked redditors to post their questions for the engineer and robot-building master. Yesterday, Imahara uploaded his responses to YouTube.

We learned that flaming, flying creamer bits are terrifying even for a veteran myth-buster, that Grant never built a female robot but he’s definitely thought about it (and he won’t elaborate further), and that you really shouldn’t call Jamie Hyneman a walrus.

Imahara is a bit long-winded but in a good way: He takes the time to really answer each question. If you don’t have over half-an-hour to kill today listening to his responses, have no fear. Redditors have already transcribed the entire interview.
