The world can’t get enough of Luis Fonsi‘s Despacito featuring Daddy Yankee, and the song’s latest YouTube video record proves it.

Sometime between the late hours of Friday night, Aug. 4, and the morning of Saturday morning, Aug. 5, in the U.S., the video for the summer’s hottest song broke 3 billion views. Not only is Despacito the most-viewed YouTube video after seven months, but it’s gone on to become the first video to break 3 billion.

Perhaps we should start placing bets on when the video will surpass 4 billion views? As of this writing, the video is more than 15 million views into the next potential record breaker. Clearly, the popularity of this song has no intention of slowing—despite the song’s misnomer of a title.
