Here’s the way that things are expected to work with Daymon “Daym Drops” Patterson, the man behind every food review you wish you had recorded: You show some love, he’s going to show that love right back.

The affable YouTuber thanked Auto-Tune maestros The Gregory Brothers for “putting me on” this weekend, releasing a “YouTube Exclusive” that finds him singing their Songified rendition of the by-now-classic “Five Guys Burgers and Fries Review” from the seat of his four-door car.

“And it’s going to be a YouTube exclusive,” Patterson attested.

“After YouTube, you’re not going to see this happen. I’m not going to do it on any TV shows, so don’t ask. I’m not going to do it on any radio interviews, so don’t ask. I’m gonna do this for YouTube. I’m going to do this for my people on Reddit.com. I’m gonna do it for my people on the Fam Page. I’m definitely gonna do it for the YouTube community, Facebook, Twitter…”

Then he takes off his shirt. And pulls an oscillating fan into the picture.

“Before Auto-Tune came out, we already had Auto-Tune,” Patterson said. “Auto-Tune is nothing new. Auto-Tune was in every hood in America. Let’s go.”

Patterson sings about 45 seconds of the 2:20 track, which has now been seen on the Gregory Brothers’ YouTube channel over 2.75 million times, before turning his attention back towards the camera.

“Not sure where this road is gonna take us,” he says. “But let’s go, man!”

Patterson’s “Five Guys Burgers and Fries Review” was the biggest YouTube hit of last week, racking up over 1,169,000 views and providing a series of rally cries: “The cheese up in here is going ham,” “I wish you could smell what I’m smellin’,”  and “You bite the fry, the fry bites back.”

At this point, we must profess that it’s only a matter of time before he has his own series on the Food Network.
