The long-running CBS host will be coming out of retirement to anchor a new series. Letterman retired in 2015, but just like Dave Chappelle, Netflix managed to bring back the iconic frontman to helm new work. The series, which is currently unnamed, will be a six-episode show where he will conduct lengthy conversations with “extraordinary people.”

“I feel excited and lucky to be working on this project for Netflix. Here’s what I have learned: If you retire to spend more time with your family, check with your family first. Thanks for watching, drive safely,” Letterman told Netflix Media.

Letterman’s series is set to premiere in 2018.
