YouTuber Chris Sails is out on bond after being accused of hitting an ex-girlfriend. A Texas judge ordered him to stay off social media, including his YouTube channel of nearly 3 million subscribers.

According to documents obtained by the Blast, the judge said Sails can’t post on YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram while he remains free on his $40,000 bond.

Sails was arrested in October and charged with third-degree felony assault. Police said Sails hit ex-girlfriend Parker McKenna Posey in the face with a closed fist, giving her a black eye, and that he put his hands around her neck, cutting off her oxygen supply while allegedly slamming the back of her head against concrete. Sails also allegedly slapped Posey with an open hand multiple times. According to the Blast, she had bruises the size of a golf ball as a result.

TMZ reports Posey, who played Damon Wayan’s daughter in the ABC show My Wife and Kids, told police the incident in September began when Sails saw an Instagram message from another man on her phone and that she feared for her life after he allegedly began assaulting her.

Sails was arrested last June for allegedly impersonating a police officer. According to CW 39, Sails and other YouTubers were spotted driving around with fake police lights on top of their car, and they allegedly pulled over multiple people before revealing to the drivers that it was all a prank.

In a YouTube video posted on Nov. 3, soon after he got out of jail on the assault charge, Sails said Posey had previously hit him, spit on him, and bit one of his friends.

“I’m tired of everybody bashing me, coming for me,” he said. “I’m not just about going around and hitting anybody, especially a female.”

Continued Sails, “I’m tired of everybody trying to make me sound like a bad, terrible person.”
