Monica and Chandler’s relationship on Friends has been #relationshipgoals since the duo first got together—and even more so after their famous proposal scene. One guy in London just fulfilled that goal by pulling off a Friends-themed proposal inside Monica and Chandler’s apartment.
Friends fan Krunal Desai planned the proposal at Comedy Central’s FriendsFest, a festival dedicated to the hit sitcom where fans visit the TV show’s sets, meet cast members, and basically pretend they live in an alternative universe where Friends is a reality.
Desai’s plan went off without a hitch. His new fiancée, Radha Patel, told Hello! that she’s elated.
“When I first saw the apartment I actually thought that this would be the perfect place to be proposed to,” Patel told Hello. “Nothing could top this proposal, it was awesome. As Phoebe would say, he’s my lobster.”

Desai said Friends plays a special role in the couple’s relationship. The two–who have been together 11 years–briefly broke up, leading their friends to compare them to Ross and Rachel. Desai said when he saw FriendsFest was coming to town, he knew it was the perfect place to propose to Patel.

Comedy Central said the proposal made FriendsFest even more memorable, and it hopes maybe next time the fest will see a Friends-themed wedding.
