The latest trailer for A Wrinkle in Time debuted during the American Music Awards Sunday night, giving us an even more intricate look at vast landscapes our heroes will encounter in their fight against the darkness.

The trailer sets up more of the film’s premise, which sets Meg Murry (Storm Reid), her brother (Deric McCabe), and her friend (Levi Miller) on a mission to find Meg’s missing father (Chris Pine) with the help of Mrs. Which (Oprah Winfrey), Mrs. Who (Mindy Kaling), and Mrs. Whatsit (Reese Witherspoon). It won’t be easy, though, as they encounter strange new lands and characters along the way, each more visually stunning than the next.

And there’s even a bit of exposition to reveal just how traveling through those “wrinkles” works.

A Wrinkle in Time arrives in theaters March 9, 2018.
