Ask any parent: No matter how diligent you are, toddlers are always getting into something you forgot to safety-proof. Luckily for the parents of twins Bowdy and Brock Shoff, what could have been a tragedy turned out to be a bittersweet lesson in triple checking all child-safety measures.

In a nursery surveillance video, 2-year-old Brock can be seen climbing up a dresser and into the drawers when it topples over him, pinning him underneath. For two minutes, he is writhing and screaming until his brother finds out a way—and the strength—to push the dresser off of him.

While at moments the footage is hard to watch, father Ricky Shoff said on Facebook he shared the video to “not only to bring awareness, but it is also incredible. We are so grateful for the bond that these twin brothers share. We know Bowdy was not alone in moving the dresser off of Brock. And feel blessed that he is OK. Please make sure all your dressers are bolted and secured to the wall. Please share.”

That sound you hear is a million drills and hammers pounding every movable object shut and against the wall in nurseries across America.
