Twitch streamer SmashGodxXx is being accused of hitting his girlfriend during a broadcast. His channel was reportedly banned from the platform.

In a clip posted to social media, the streamer can be seen asking his girlfriend to leave the room so that he can “talk to chat without [her].” After she refuses to go, SmashGodxXx proceeds to ask her why she’s “acting like that” and demands that she bring him a beer. She responds by asserting, “I’m not f*cking your maid, OK?” The streamer then turns the camera away, and a slapping noise is heard off-screen.

In a 16-minute recording of the stream uploaded to Streamable, the couple is seen after the alleged slap denying that anything bad happened. SmashGodxXx’s girlfriend tells the chat to “stop making up stories.” SmashGodxXx proceeds to blame his girlfriend for causing drama and scolds her for being unfamiliar with how Twitch works.

“If she wants to act up for content, or whatever it may be, if she wants to cost my life for this and my job, that’s on her,” he says in the video. After initially denying that he hit her, he says, “It wasn’t even a slap, bro. It was just like a slash.”

When his girlfriend begins crying, the streamer starts blaming the chat for “making her f*cking miserable.” Near the end of the video, the streamer’s sister comes in and takes the camera from his room, talking to the stream about her own life. While she is talking, thuds and a woman’s scream can be heard in the background. The stream quickly ends after that.

SmashGodxXx asked his chat to downvote Reddit posts talking about the incident, according to screenshots taken from his Discord. In one popular Reddit post, some users said they hoped the streamer was “permanently banned” and accused him of “gaslighting her in front of everyone.”

According to Dexerto, Twitch does not comment on community guideline violations for privacy reasons. Twitch’s community guidelines state that “acts and threats of violence will be taken seriously and are considered zero-tolerance violations and all accounts associated with such activities will be indefinitely suspended.”

This is not the first time a Twitch streamer has been accused of abusive behavior. A gamer recently sparked outrage after screaming at his baby and breaking a controller during a live stream. And, in January, dozens of Twitch streamers were accused of sexual assault
