A game show participant was sexually assaulted last night during a bizarre segment that mimicked Kim Kardashian West’s recent robbery.
As BuzzFeed reports, French TV presenter Cyril Hanouna is in the midst of a national record-breaking 35-hour-long live program. The program has been rolling since Thursday and will conclude at some point today. It’s even continued as Hanouna crashed on a couch.

At some point, Hanouna appears to have run out of good ideas.
Early Friday morning, Hanouna set-up a “game” wherein a panelist named Jean-Michel Maire, acting as a locksmith, had to rescue a woman named Soraya from a bathtub, where she’s tied up—a scene that obviously references Kardashian’s headline-making robbery during Fashion Week in Paris.
As if that weren’t bad enough, Maire forced himself on Soraya, after she firmly told Hanouna twice that she didn’t want to give a victory kiss to Maire. Hanouna suggests, “Just a little peck on the cheek,” and while Soraya turns head, Maire does this instead:

France passed a far-reaching sexual harassment law in 2012. As the New York Times reports:
The new law defines harassment as “imposing on someone, in a repeated way, words or actions that have a sexual connotation” and either “affecting the person’s dignity because of their degrading or humiliating nature” or putting him or her in an “intimidating, hostile or offensive situation.”
Offenders face a potential fine of €75,000 (roughly $82,000 U.S.) and five years in jail.
