Dad walking his daughter down the aisle shows the true meaning of family

Few things can bring a family together like a wedding and that’s exactly what Todd Bachman learned at his own daughter Brittany’s nuptials.

While walking Brittany down the aisle, Bachman suddenly stopped, causing confusion among the guests in attendance. Then, according to photographer Delia D. Blackburn, he went to her stepfather.

“Todd reached out his hand and grabbed Brittany’s stepfather and pulled him down the aisle to walk their daughter down the aisle together,” Blackburn writes on Facebook. “NOT A DRY EYE at the ceremony … including me!”

“Families are what we make them… make it about your kids and not your ego,” Blackburn continues. “Congratulations, Todd Bachman, on showing your kids what true love really is … love for your children.”

Blackburn also shared a small collection of photos from the ceremony, showing the stepfather in tears as he’s brought to help walk his daughter down the aisle. That’s a family moment no one will forget.
