Move aside hot chicks of Occupy Wall Street! A new Tumblr account is showcasing some of the cutest protesters yet.
Awwccupy Wall Street documents the more adorable members of the crowd. From a cat who stands in solidarity with the 99 percent to a chubby-cheeked baby, this blog is too cute for its own good.
Since there’s no way of contacting the blog’s creator, these critters speak for themselves. Perhaps it wouldn’t be a bad idea for them to speak for the whole Occupy movement too. Listening to a protester with a megaphone might make you angry, but who can resist a scrappy mutt picketing against fat cats?
Is this blog perfect “for those of you that need a puppy break,” as @laurennmcc wrote?
Or is bringing your furry friend with you to a protest a case of “anipal [sic] cruelty,” as @mamadoxie said? We’d love to debate, but for now we’re too busy cooing.
