At Apple’s “Spring Forward” event today in San Francisco, the company brought HBO along to announce a deal that surprised many: HBO Now, the company’s standalone streaming video app that will debut in April for $14.99 per month, will be coming to AppleTV and iOS devices exclusively

Except… not quite exclusively.

HBO Now

In a short FAQ section tucked away at the bottom of the new HBO Now order page, it is revealed that you won’t actually need an Apple device in order to watch the service on its launch date.

“At launch HBO NOW℠ will be available on desktop/laptop computers as well as iOS devices, including iPad®, iPhone®, iPod touch® and Apple TV®.”

Basically, this means you’ll still be able to watch your new Game of Thrones episodes on your Windows PC if you so choose.
