Najwa Jamal is a writer and fact-checker based out of New York, with an interest in creative nonfiction. Her writing has focused on the relationship between race, religion, and identity and the Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) population, with a focus on Morocco and North Africa. A graduate of Bard College, her work has appeared in The Nation, where she is currently a fact-checker, Rest of World, and the Bosphorus Review of Books.
