UPS representative Debbie Curtis-Magley shows the world how to properly handle a potential public relations nightmare on Reddit. The cause of the UPS headache? An image in r/wtf showing an alleged UPS delivery person tossing a package onto a front porch. Curtis-Magley jumped into the thread. “Throwing a package is inexcusable and UPS does not tolerate it under any circumstances,” she wrote. “I sent a message to the [poster] asking for his assistance to get a tracking number on the shipment so we can determine if UPS was involved.” The damage control was particularly important because without it, the original poster might have never noticed that the delivery person didn’t actually work for UPS.
