Former New York Jets teammates Kellen Winslow and Antonio Cromartie apparently don’t enjoy each other’s company. Winslow, a former tight end who hasn’t played in the NFL since 2013, thinks Cromartie—a cornerback—is a “poser” and says Cromartie probably would be “the last guy I would take down an alley with me.”
So when Winslow noticed, via Twitter, that Cromartie was messing around with his one of his teammates in the locker room, he took decisive social media action.
First, here was Cromartie in the locker room playing the role of reporter and lobbing a couple of questions at Dee Milliner.

That’s relatively harmless. At the very least it shows us that even though he’s a pro athlete and has a relationship with fellow cornerback Milliner, that doesn’t mean Cromartie is going to get anything more than a cliched answer coming out of Milliner’s mouth. Especially since everything Cromartie said about Milliner—who’s been disappointing as a former New York first-round pick—was true.
Before we continue, there are a couple of things you should know about Winslow.
1) His father, Kellen Winslow Sr., was a Hall of Fame tight end—considered by some to be one of the best in history at his position—and there was only a very small chance that Junior’s pro career would ever come close to matching that of his dad.
2) In November 2013, Winslow was arrested and charged with possession of synthetic marijuana after police found him in his car outside of a Target in East Hanover, New Jersey. Though he told officers he was lost while trying to find a Boston Market restaurant, one witness accused him of masturbating inside his vehicle, and police found two open bottles of Vaseline on his center console.
OK, back to the story.
So, Winslow didn’t like Cromartie’s stunt. Winslow didn’t like it at all.

Winslow then said the two should get in the ring:
And that’s where this feud has ended for now.
Credit, though, goes to Winslow for keeping his fightin’ words above the fray. Because he could have gotten as dirty as Cromartie did. All Winslow would have had to do was search for the video below and ask Cromartie how all of his kids are doing.
