After weeks of endless hype, the solar eclipse quickly came and went on Monday, but not before leaving us with some out-of-this-world images.
People from across the United States put on their special glasses and aimed their cameras to the sky to document the mysterious occasion. What came next was a barrage of photos posted to social media.
