Iron Man and Captain America may hog the headlines, but some of Marvel‘s best (and most loved) superheroes are the ones who have yet to star in their own movies.
That’s why it’s exciting to see a new line of super hero fashion that celebrates the women of the Marvel universe, including Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, Agent Carter, Spider-Gwen, and Captain Marvel. Fashion company Her Universe announced the collection today, revealing that the outfits will debut this week at the Official ReedPOP Supply Co. Store. at New York Comic Con.
Fortunately, unlike other Comic Con exclusive toys and accessories, fans everywhere will get a chance to own their favorite design in the collection. The outfits will be available in early October at select Hot Topic stores and online at Hottopic.com in sizes XS to 3X.
The highlight of the collection is the Spider-Gwen jacket by designer Lindsay Hamilton, which Her Universe said it pulled straight from the 2015 Her Universe Fashion Show at San Diego Comic-Con.
“While she did not win the competition, Hot Topic loved her jacket so much that they asked if they could buy her design to sell in stores! It was truly a pleasure to work with Lindsay to bring her jacket to retail. It’s gorgeous!” said Her Universe Founder Ashley Eckstein in a press release.
