Meet our newfound national treasure. Flossie Dickey is 110 years old, likes her coffee hot, her naps long, and her whiskey straight up.
On Thursday, Dickey sat down for an interview with a typically chipper reporter for a human interest segment on local morning news show Good Day Spokane. The reporter was eager to discuss Dickey’s favorite activities, her family, and the secret to living well into old age.
But Flossie didn’t mince words or play games. She told the reporter: “I’m tired.”
The secret to a long life? “I don’t fight it. I live it.”
And when asked if she was excited for a birthday celebration with her family, including her 15 great-great grandchildren, Dickey replied, “No. Not one bit.”
The expression on Dickey’s face as she sips her coffee is truly the living embodiment of “Look at all the f***s I give.”
