Designer Jihong Yeom has found a unique use for wire hangers. Yeom can bend, twist, and fold hangers into bookstands, tables, and even smartphone holders.

Yeom first got the idea when he was working at his family’s pizza shop. He realized he had nothing on which to lean the book he was reading.

A wire hanger caught his eye, and before long, he twisted it into a bookstand. Since then, Yeom has moved on to creating bigger and more exciting items, including a bed, all from simple wire hangers.

It all started with a hanger and a book:

Then Yeom made holders for different household items.

He even made a hangout tent for dogs.

Then Yeom got a little tired from all that hanger twisting.
