Daily Fluff: Dog doctor becomes chief internist at hospital

It took eight years of medical school, two years as a resident and five as head of emergency care at the Warwick Veterinary Hospital, but last week, Doby the pup was named chief internist at the pet care facility.

Of course, because he’s a dog, he was able to complete that 15 years of school and training in just two human years.

“He’s a very knowledgeable physician,” said fellow veterinarian Dr. Heidi Goss. “He’s extremely loyal to the hospital and once he rarely chews the furniture anymore. There’s no one I’d rather have managing the care of our patients.”
