Earlier this week, Twitter sounded off en masse on the 10 Twitter people they’d most like to meet.
The topic received more than 127,000 mentions, according to Topsy, a social-media search engine. As the Daily Dot reported, the results were fairly predictable—Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, and Demi Lovato topped our sample group—but there were some interesting exceptions, such as Greg F., a deaf 21-year-old who writes inspirational messages under the name @irespectfemales.
The responses were quite telling about the individual twitterers, giving insight into the comedic relief, daily motivation, community interaction, and celebrity fandom the users seek from the site.
