YouTube personality Chad Prather is being roasted on Twitter after he publicly pondered why people in Austin weren’t protesting for “bomb control” in the wake of a series of bombing attacks that left two people dead and multiple others injured.
Where are the marches and protests for bomb control in Austin?

It was a sentiment not unlike Lisa Kennedy Montgomery’s widely panned comment about “Truck Control” following the mass shooting in Las Vegas.

Prather tried to pivot from this criticism by claiming that this was the point he was trying to make to all along.
Bombs are already illegal yet being used to murder people. So you’d like to make guns illegal which will accomplish what? I just proved to you that illegal things still murder people. Do you have a clue yet? I’m doubting it.

An average of 96 people in the United States are killed by guns every day. While the number of people killed by bombs is less—it’s actually hard to find statistics for that since it hardly ever happens—no one was buying Prather’s argument about bombs.
I mean hell, might as well do away with all that pesky legislation on DUIs, murder, and drugs! I mean people are going to do it anyway so whats the point.

Prather has made a career out of stirring up such controversies, mainly by sitting alone in his truck and doing things like ranting about NFL protestors, or threatening violence against transgender people, who he refers to as “sexual predators.” You know, the kind of stuff that lands you on Fox and Friends.
Prather has also now decided that talking to himself in the cab of his truck qualifies him to be a stand-up comedian. He’ll be touring across the United States starting in April, which may give him a chance to learn about the more metaphorical kind of bombing.
