Everyone knows you can’t bring large containers of liquid on airplanes. 100 milliliters  (3.4 ounces) is the limit. Which raises the question: What do you do with the can of beer you inexplicably brought to the airport with you?

Well, one passenger flying from Melbourne, Australia to Perth decided to simply check the single can of beer like it was a piece of luggage. Luckily someone captured the can at the beginning of its journey.

and someone else posted its triumphant arrival.

The man, who wished to remain anonymous, had doubts about ever seeing the beer again.

“My mate works at the airport and we hatched the plan as a laugh—I half didn’t expect it to come out the other end,” he told Daily Mail, “But when it did it was sent out well in front of all the other luggage, so the baggage handlers obviously appreciated it.”

The man and his beer flew on Qantas Airlines, which has no charge for the first piece of checked luggage. So, literally, free beer.
