It can be said that a person’s apartment reflects who they are. Most people add personal details that make their house feel like a home. Some people even rent out perfectly decorated apartments just for their Instagram. Others, however, do the bare minimum. On Wednesday, a person on Twitter posted a photo of a nearly empty apartment, with only a recliner and a TV with the caption, “guys really live in apartments like this and don’t see any issue.”

The bare apartment set off a debate on Twitter. Some people saw no issue with the minimalist look.

“You got food, water, and entertainment system, a roof over your head…I don’t see the issue either,” one person said.

“Shit I see no problem. I see an unbothered king lol,” someone else said.

Others took offense to that someone would live like this.

Someone quoted Ariana Grande, responding to the photo saying, “thank u, next.”

“Get a fucking plant chad!!!” someone else said.

Personally, I would walk right back out the door if I walked into an apartment like this. There’s minimalism and then there’s this. And this is simply unacceptable.
