Emanuele Fornasier is an Italian chemistry student who also says he loves landscape and time-lapse photography. He seemingly put all his skills into the video you see below in which he photographed forming crystals.

As Colossal explains, it’s “a time-lapse of some 18 examples of electrocrystallization, where an electric current is run through a chemical solution, causing metal deposits to form over a period of several hours or days.”
