A lot of people and organizations are pissed about North Carolina’s new anti-LGBT law, which protects many forms of discrimination: Seattle Mayor Ed Murray, PayPal, Bruce Springsteen, and now XHamster.

The porn site is shutting off access to visitors with IP addresses in North Carolina, which means that the residents of the state won’t be able to stream their hot, filthy, and completely free content.

“We are appalled by the recent events that have transpired in North Carolina. We have spent the last 50 years fighting for equality for everyone and these laws are discriminatory which XHamster.com does not tolerate,” read a statement from the site.

“As of today, access to XHamster.com is blacked out in the state of North Carolina until further notice. Judging by the stats of what you North Carolinians watch, we feel this punishment is a severe one. We will not standby and pump revenue into a system that promotes this type of garbage. We respect all sexualities and embrace them.”

Ah, the irony. It remains to be seen whether other porn sites will follow in suit, but for now, congrats to go lawmakers of North Carolina: You just made it harder for your citizens to masturbate.
