Prank star Vitaly Zdorovetskiy’s embarrassing porn past surfaces

Warning: This article contains sexually explicit material.

YouTube star Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, a.k.a. Vitaly D, has been wildly successful with a string of racist, sexist, and generally ill-advised prank videos in the last couple years. He knows what sort of idiotic behavior will get hate-clicks, and he knows how to get a rise out of people.

Speaking of getting a rise out of people, Vitaly’s 2011 BangBus porn shoot appeared on the shock-porn site eFukt this week. Surprise: Zdorovetskiy’s done some porn! Or not so much of a surprise. He’s been up-front about his porn past; he referenced it in an interview with Florida Atlantic University’s University Press earlier this year. The clip has been floating around bodybuilding forums and has been referenced in the comments of his videos. Someone at eFukt notcied this guy was getting famous and decided to bring it back.

In that FAU interview, he claimed he did it because he needed the money, and also YOLO.

You only live once. I am trying to do everything possible.

The clip (Warning: NSFW) does not show Zdorovetskiy in a particularly flattering light. As he sits in the back of a bus with another man and porn star Diamond Kitty (also NSFW), he looks a little anxious. You can also tell he’s anxious because he’s having a little trouble, well, participating. After Diamond Kitty tries and fails to rouse him, she moves on to the other guy. Zdorovetskiy politely hands his partner a condom. He sits there for a while, diddling himself. Eventually, both men are kicked out of the bus, and Kitty tells him, “Hey! Fuck you!”

Performing on camera must be tough. You almost feel bad for the kid.

It’s tempting to turn this into a kind of origin story for Zdorovetskiy’s YouTube career: Mocked and humiliated by a porn star, he vowed revenge and began a career of humiliating others. But it’s also a sad story: He’s not the only cash-strapped young person who didn’t get what he expected from BangBus. The actresses they employ often have it worse.

The Florida-based porn company has long fancied itself as a “reality” porn site, “picking up” supposedly amateur men and women to perform in a vehicle driving around South Florida. While the woman with Vitaly is a seasoned porn star, that approach hasn’t always been the case. A 2004 Miami New Times article detailed how BangBus attempted to con regular women into “performing” on the site, then profit off their naiveté, promising to remove videos within two weeks and then issuing contracts that stated otherwise. As part of the BangBus “act,” women are often taunted and ridiculed on camera.

In other news, Vitaly has a new video out, called “How to Catch a Predator Prank,” the plot of which involves a 15-year-old girl asking men for help on the street. The comments, as usual, are awful.
