After the video surfaced, organizers and local community members put together “buyouts” and asked people in the Long Beach area to show their support in protest.
Thousands of people answered the call.It took place on the same street where the vendor was attacked days earlier.
"We gotta protect our street vendors... We're out here to buy out all his tamales."
