YouTube right now! “R. Kelly Wants Deaf People to Stop Masturbating”

It's time for the "freaking weekend," but it's not exactly what the Jehovah's Witnesses behind this original PSA had in mind.

In YouTube Right Now, the Daily Dot looks at videos that catch our eyes, push our buttons, and move our dials—and that you’ve just got to watch. Right now!

R. Kelly wants you to stop touching yourself.

That appears to be the case in a new YouTube clip posted on Sep. 6 by user TheFlyWalrus.

Entitled “R. Kelly Wants Deaf People to Stop Masturbating,” the clip features footage from a video produced by Jehovah’s Witnesses that uses sign language to encourage the deaf community to refrain from self-pleasuring—to the tune of Kell’s “Ignition (Remix).”

The end result is unbound hilarity, especially if you don’t read and understand American Sign Language. The movements and facial expressions of the signers synchronize perfectly with the beat and lyrics of the song, making it seem as if they’re acting it out instead of advocating against masturbation.

At the 1:30 mark, for example, the second signer throws his body back as R. Kelly sings “Cristal poppin’ in the stretch Navigator,” appearing to be celebrating the fact that it’s the “freakin’ weekend.”

Now it’s about to have us some fun.
