With over 72 hours of footage uploaded every minute, it’s physically impossible to keep track of the content on YouTube. But in YouTube Guide, the Daily Dot will curate its five favorite finds for each workday.

1) Old Payphone, “@thexavius: Portrait of an Instagram Artist”

Think Instagram makes taking pictures easy? Think again. If you’re anything like @Thexavius, Instagramming shots is a complex science that demands the foremost performance out of each and every subject and assistant. Step inside the studio of Instagram’s most influential artisté.

2) Steve Streza, “Like a Bad White Guy Party Gangnam Style”

On his first YouTube mashup, San Francisco software engineer Steve Streza combined PSY’s smash hit “Gangnan Style” with LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem,” the Far East Movement’s “Like a G6,” the Offspring’s timeless “Pretty Fly (For a White Guy),” and the Bloodhound Gang’s “Bad Touch” for one of the most high-octane party jams this year. Try not to bite your tongue.

3) Rooster Teeth, “Animated Adventures—OmniGus”

The Rooster Teeth crew makes their bones by pulling a page from the Ricky Gervais playbook, recreating animated shorts of self-deprecating stories they’ll retell. This week, Gus tells the talks about his daily trials and tribulations with the neighborhood pharmacist.

4)  Politicats, “99 Problems but the One ain’t One”

The premiere episodes of Politicats, the new cat-centric current events detail from the Shut Up! Cartoons crew, goes behind the desk of President Black Cat, a cool cucumber of a kitty who’s focused on reelection in the wake of those pesky Occupy Wall Street protests.

5) Jimmy Kimmel, “YouTube Challenge—I got My Kid a Horrible Back to School Outfit”

Kids are going back to school, which mean it’s time for Jimmy Kimmel to prank somebody. In his latest YouTube Challenge—a segment on his late night show that culls viewer contributions to challenges he provides—Kimmel rounds up clip after clip of parents buying their kids really ugly outfits for their first day back in class.
