1) The Warp Zone, “Drinking Games for Gamers: Super Meat Boy Am I Drunk”
Here’s a new way to make your gaming more fun: Add beer. Thanks to the gaming guys at The Warp Zone, we have a new way to play those extra levels in Super Meat Boy: Drink every time you die. Drink twice every fifth death. Take a shot every time you get sucked down through a Warp Zone. If you manage to clear three levels in a row—without blacking out—you’ve won. Now have yourself a celebratory drink. You’ve earned it.
2) Motown Tribute to Nickelback, “How You Remind Me—Live at Squamish”
What started on YouTube as a gig and a dream has officially turned into real life. Scott Bradlee’s Motown Tribute to Nickelback made their live debut this weekend at British Columbia’s Live at Squamish, bringing Canada all the sweat and soul that its native Nickelback has always left out.
3) BoredShortsTV, “Autocorrect Awareness: Mail”
From the creators who brought you “Kid Snippets” and “Kid History” comes “Autocorrect Awareness,” a new shorts series that plans to take that Damn You Autocorrect comedy and fit it firmly on the screen. Perhaps a phone call is in order? Perhaps you’re right.
4) Rob Scallon, “Musical Mad Libs”
For his latest track, YouTube singer-songwriter Rob Scallon reeled in singer Tamara Chambers and lyrical contributions from a whole slew of his fans. The result: “Musical Mad Libs,” an E to Amaj7 jam that’s all about missing cats, cutting the cheese, and all the sounds that cows make.
5) Shut Up Cartoons, “Politicats Trailer”
The Internet hates politics, but it loves cats—and dubstep. That’s why, in light of the fact that political season is revving up with the horsepower of a V8 engine, Shut Up Cartoons has pledged to bring you the most extensive cat-centric coverage of the campaigns, with plenty of dubstep in between.
