Basketball fans now have a new way to make sure they can watch every NBA game: NBA TV.
The National Basketball Association has announced a new standalone streaming service that will give fans access to games that wouldn’t normally be available. Expanding on its NBA League Pass, NBA TV will target cord cutters looking to stream out-of-market action.

NBA TV is a standalone streaming service that allows customers to watch out-of-market NBA games live on any compatible device.
How to watch NBA TV
You can sign up for NBA TV through NBA League Pass. In the past, the service required you to pay a higher fee for a larger selection of games, but this more affordable option is now available on its website.
Once you sign up, you can stream qualifying games live on any device without another accompanying cable subscription or streaming service.
How much does NBA TV cost?
If you want to pay for NBA TV month to month, you’ll pay $7. If you’re willing to commit to a full year of the service, the total is $59.99, or $4.99 a month.

Media streamers of all stripes will have a way to watch NBA TV. The streaming service supports iOS, Android, Amazon Fire TV, and Kindle devices, Roku 3 and 4, Apple TV, Android TV, Samsung smart TVs, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and 4, Amazon Alexa, and Amazon Echo. You can also just log into your computer the old-fashioned way if you want (and Chromecast to your big screen).
What games can I watch on NBA TV?
NBA TV allows you to stream out-of-market NBA games online. If the game is being aired in your local market or on a national network (TNT, ESPN, ABC, etc.) it will not be available through this service.
If you are a cord cutter, a service like Sling TV or Playstation Vue will give you access to NBA TV games as well as those airing on cable channels.
