How to stream BeIN Sports: La Liga live stream and more

Barcelona and Real Madrid fans don't agree on much, but if they're in the U.S., they have BeIN Sports in common.

  • BeIN Sports is best known in the U.S. as home to La Liga, Spain’s top-flight soccer league.
  • BeIN is about more than Barcelona and Real Madrid, though. It’s also the place to catch other top soccer competitions, including France’s Ligue 1 and Turkey’s Super Lig.
  • If you’re a South American soccer fan, BeIN will help you catch CONMEBOL and Copa Libertadores live streams.
  • It’s also home to motor sports, tennis, rugby, and other sports.
  • BeIN is available on Fubo, Sling, and Fanatiz.

What is BeIN SPORTS?

BeIN Sports (stylized as beIN) was created in 2011 after Ligue 1 (France’s top soccer league) made a four-year broadcasting deal with Al-Jazeera Media Network.

Over the past decade, beIN has amassed a number of live rights, primarily for soccer, that can be broadcast or streamed through services like FuboTV and Sling TV. Along with Ligue 1 and both French Cups, BeIN SPORTS also has rights to Spain’s La Liga, CONMEBOL Qualifiers, Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana, and the Africa Cup of Nations.

While all those soccer assets bring some great action, La Liga’s by far the most popular league on the channel, with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, and Sevilla among the most consistently successful teams in European soccer.

BeIN Sports brings it with one of the most famous duos in soccer broadcasting, narrating all that’s happening in Spain from a South Florida studio. Play-by-play man Phil Schoen is a veteran soccer broadcaster who called MLS‘s first match in 1996. Commentator Ray Hudson is a former head coach and irrepressible personality. He goes from creating elaborate metaphors to squealing and screaming when goals are scored to convey his passion for the game. (He has to be experienced to be truly understood.)

Of course, the network isn’t just about soccer: You can catch racing events, tennis matches, live rugby, sailing, surfing, and other niche sports on the flagship channel and its sister channels. (But it’s mostly about soccer.)

What is BeIN Sports Ñ and BeIN Sports Xtra?

BeIN Sports Ñ is technically the Spanish-language channel for BeIN, but it often functions like ESPN2 for the BeIN network, especially during La Liga match days when two intriguing matches are on in the same time slot. Sometimes, though, it carries Spanish-language coverage of whatever is on the flagship channel.

BeIN Sports Xtra, on the other hand, is a 24/7 sports channel that has reach beyond where the flagship channel is usually found. Xtra can be found in the list of Roku channels, on Pluto TV, on Xumo, and on Samsung smart TVs. It does carry the occasional live match, plus a good deal of replays.

BeIN Sports live stream: Streaming services that carry BeIN Sports

Not every streaming service carries BeIN; in fact, it’s one of the few channels you can’t get on even the biggest AT&T TV Now packages. But it is available on these:

BeIn Sports on FuboTV

FuboTV started as a streaming service geared toward sports fans, but it’s evolved into a broadly-appealing option with entertainment and news options alongside its robust sports choices. FuboTV starts at $54.99 a month, and depending on the package, you can access as many as 180+ FuboTV channels. If you’re looking to be entertained, Bravo, IFC, MTV, and VH1 are options even at Fubo’s most basic tier.

The Fubo channel list still includes plenty of sports, including the Fubo Sports Network, which has original programming mixing sports and humor. The ESPN suite of channels was added as part of an agreement that also brought ABC and the Disney Channel. Pretty much every sports channel you could think of is available through Fubo, including CBS Sports Network and TUDN.

You can get BeIn and its Spanish-language counterpart (and a bunch of rarely-used spillover channels) at even the most basic level.

Elite$79.99

BeIn Sports on Sling TV

If you’re looking for a streamlined, cost-effective streaming package, check out Sling TV. It offers two basic cable packages, Sling Orange and Sling Blue, each of which costs $30 per month. There’s also the third option of getting Sling Orange + Blue for just $45 per month. You’ll get more Sling TV channels by choosing Sling Blue, with its 40 channels including sports favorites like FS1 and NBCSN and cable mainstays like Food Network and Discovery Channel. But Sling Orange brings must-haves Disney Channel and ESPN as part of its package. There’s also a Sports Extra option for each Sling package, with MLB Network, NBA TV, and NHL Network part of each plan.

You can get BeIN in English and Spanish via the World Sports package for $10 a month, and you can get just the Spanish version for the same price in Sling’s Best of Spanish package.

Orange$35
Blue$35
Orange + Blue$50

BeIn Sports on Fanatiz

Fanatiz is a streaming service created specifically for the soccer fan. Fanatiz carries La Liga and Ligue 1 action via BeIN Sports. (As soccer fans know, BeIN is essential yet absent from most of the big streaming services.) Fanatiz also carries Gol TV and TyC Sports, giving access to competitions like the CAF Confederations Cup, the Copa Libertadores, the Copa Sudamericana, and the Copa del Rey. Plus, it has additional content that will appeal to Boca Juniors and Real Madrid fans in particular.

Plus, there’s a daily pass option, so if you’re just trying to catch an El Clasico or Madrid Derby match, you can pay $4.99 and have access for a 24-hour period.

If you’re into Serie A, there’s a new package for you. Club Italia, for an additional $7.99 a month, gives you access to RAI Italia broadcast of Italy’s top-flight league the way Italians watch it. If you like what you’ve seen from Juventus, Inter Milan, Napoli, and the surprising Atalanta this season in Champions League, you can now see them week in and week out in Serie A via Fanatiz.

Fanatiz has also just come out with a package covering the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, better known as the Brasileirão. For $7.99 a month, you can access Fanatiz-produced coverage of Brazil’s top-flight league, which is home to a number of rising stars in one of the world’s most soccer-loving nations.
