Kurt Cobain was often a quiet, reserved character away from the stage—a stark contrast to the persona portrayed by @KurtQuotes.

The Twitter account takes follower submissions of lyrics by others and random lines, and turns them into fabricated quotes attributed to the late Nirvana frontman.

Since creating the account in August, the person behind it has strangely quoted Cobain more than 750 times and picked up around 4,000 followers, while musing on a new smartphone, enjoying life, and things that glitter.
