Donald Trump has only the 68th most popular account on Twitter

Here's whose Twitter fingers are hotter than the president-elect's.

President-elect Donald Trump is known for many things—his status as a businessman and entrepreneur, or maybe his branded catch phrase from his reality TV days, “You’re fired!” 

But to many of his supporters, fellow politicians, and haters, Trump’s Twitter fingers have left significant (albeit tiny) prints on the president-elect’s legacy as a public figure. Hate it or love it, Trump’s tweets have altered the course and tone of future political campaigning as we know it. 

As of this reporting, Trump holds the 68th most popular account on Twitter with more than 19.5 million followers, according to analytics service Twitter Counter. And while Trump is set to become the 45th president of the United States in mere days, his popularity on the platform is yet to outshine those of other celebrities, musicians, hosts, athletes, and even news organizations.
