As the saying goes, if you don't like something, go out and make it yourself. That's exactly what many Tumblr bloggers decided to do when they saw the company's dashboard changes.

Tumblr quietly unveiled a dashboard redesign yesterday. It’s a little more than a minimalistic take on the earlier dashboard controls. The new look, which consists of redone user icons, did not even merit an official staff blog post. Even so, the change did not go unnoticed.
Some of Tumblr’s funniest blogs stepped up to make their own mashups of the redesign, all far less subtle than Tumblr’s take.
